Program Details

Who:    Grades 6 - 12

When:  Saturday Evenings

             January 7th - February 11, 2023

Time:    4:00 - 11:00 pm

Where:  Bus leaves at 4:00 pm, SHARP, from the WPS Superintendent's Office parking lot at 31 Marshall Street

Fees:   Recreation Supervised Coach Bus Transportation: $200.00 (limited to 100)

             Ski Pass Price Thru 12/1/22:   $173.00    (This includes a $30 weekend evening charge)

             Ski Pass Price After 12/1/22:   $203.00    (This includes a $30 weekend evening charge) 

Description

This program is designed to provide middle and high school students with a fun and safe atmosphere to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding or to improve their skills.  All participants must wear helmets while skiing or snowboarding. 

We have offered this program for many years and students have a great time learning to ski and/or snowboard. Many youngsters have purchased their own equipment and have become quite accomplished skiers / snowboarders.

Transportation

All participants must ride the Recreation Department coach bus and the fee is $ 200.00  Go to the above menu and select "Online Registration" or make checks payable to the City of Watertown.  Space is limited on the bus with a maximum of 100 seats.  Please register early.

Registration

Go to Wachusett Mountain's website at www.wachusett.com/schoolgroups.  The school group code for Watertown Recreation is WATR.

Select lift badge or season pass.  Optional items are lessons, equipment rentals, insurance, terrain park pass and the COW card.
